Artist's book: Joseph Brodsky "Watermark"
design, illustrations, page-proof
2016
Metaphor-book a project about a city that has survived through centuries of history and at the same time as fragile as a crystal box. Elements of the book refer to Brodsky's text, and to Venice itself: the man-made structure, fragility, and nebula of the translucent pages combined with the snow-white pages of the book, silk, and cotton, as the historical context of the city.
